Wilhelmina came to US about1882-1883,when Fred was 14 years old.Gustav would have been about 16, and Karl about 19. The y landed in Baltimore. She wanted to be near her daughters,Augusta & Amelia, who had arrived in the US in 1881. Grandm a Schauerlived with Gustav, who bought a farm(Ziese-near church). When he married Anna Mohn she moved to son Frederick' s, until she died. She had a heart condition and had to be carried everywhere. When she died she had water in her syste m. Cause of deathwas heart congestion. |
