Ohio: Intestate: Inventory of this estate was filed May 19, 181 9, JONATHAN (son) and WILLIAM BUCKLES appointed administrators when Abner's wife relinquished her right to administer.. .wife's name, MARTHA. Parents' names - Rev. JOHN GERRARD Sr. and MEHITABLE___. Abner was on the Montgomery Co., Washington Twp. tax list i n 1810. He lived for a while at Columbia (Cincinnati, Gerards Station) in Hamilton Co., Ohio, 1790 census; moved to Mo ntgomery Co. ca. 1800 or 1801, entered land Section 34 Town 3, Range 5, Dec. 20, 1801; for which patent was issued Jul y 30, 1812, He was a Justice of the Peace and the first marriage in the county in 1803, was performed by him. In 1813 was unanimously elected Republican State Senator - listed as a stockholder in the first woolen mill - first mill in Washington Twp., as were JACOB and JOHN GERARD. In 1821 and is buried in the old Episcopal cemetery in C incinnati; she m. (2) 1829 WILLIAM McCAMPBELL, as his second wife: Judith d. 1868 in Miami Co. Wm. d. Feb. 27, 1 847, Miami Co. Both buried in Raper Chapel Cemetery. ELIZABETH GERARD m. JOHN SHANKS. Said to have lived in Miami Co. and moved to Indiana ca. 1833. MEHETABLE GERARD m. ABEDNEGO STEPHENS. HENRY " b. 1775 (from 1850 census) in Virginia. He was on the Miami Co. 1810 tax list. m. (1) Martha... accordi ng to land records, and the 1820 census lists them both as above 26, under 45 years of age - 11 children, m. (2) Oct . 21, 1822 HENRIETTA PETIT, Miami Co. The Miami Co. marriage records say a Henry Gerard married SARAH A. RAVENSCROFT . This could have been a 3rd. marriage but is not known definitely. Mar. date. Mar. 16, 1834. THOMAS J. GERARD m.
